Invitation to contribute and participate
ARCO (Algorithmic Research:
Cooperation around Oresound) was
established 2011 as a network for exchange of research within
algorithms and to promote the general interest in this research
area within the Oresund Region.
The idea is to meet once or twice per year for a one-day workshop.
On April 12th 2024, at the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and
letters, H.C. Andersens Boulevard 35, Copenhagen Central, we plan to
have some talks, some lunch together, more talks, opportunities for
collaboration, smørebrød
for dinner,
and then the possibility of going out for a drink on town in the
evening. Workshop attendance including meals is free, and the venue
is close to the central station for convenience.
How to get here:
- The venue is circa 10 minutes from Københavns
Hovedbanegård (Cph H)
- It is also walking distance from Rådhuspladsen Metro Station
- The 8:21 train from Lund (8:35 from Malmö) is at Cph H 9.15
- The 6.15 train from Aarhus (7.53 from Odense) is at Cph H 9.02
- The 6.55 train from Aarhus (8.20 from Odense) is at Cph H

The event takes place on the first floor (talks) and third floor
(food), there are both stairs and lifts.
Tentative programme:
- 9.20'ish to 10 coffee (upstairs) and arrival (doors open already 8:30)
- 10 to 12: talks (x4) first session
- 12 to 13: lunch upstairs.
- 13 to 14.15 talks (x3) second session
- 14.15 to 15.15: businessmeeting
- 14.15 to 15.15: fun and games for PhD students etc.
- 15.15 to 16: coffee break
- 16 to 17.15 talks (x3) third session
- 17.30 to 19: smørebrødsdinner
- 19:30 onward: beer/drinks at a nearby place
- Note that we are asked to vacate the building by 19.30.
